Graveyard Whispers

Since 2003, I have taken photos of thousands of graves. This is due to myself attempting to find connections to my own family tree, my own projects, to help fellow family historians or simply because I find a grave interesting. Sometimes it might even be because I see a headstone crumbling and deem it may be lost forever.

It is hoped that Graveyard Whispers will prove invaluable to family historians and serve as a lasting memorial of respect to the deceased featured.

Special thanks are owed to Anne Bowes who has transcribed the details from many of the photographed headstones and supplied additional information where possible (credit is given to all contributors (unless requested not to do so)).

It will take a very long time to complete this project as there are still thousands of images to transcribe.
